My name is Clayton Caswell.

I do not know my Indigeneity as I am a descendant of a Sixties Scoop Survivor from Île-à-la-Crosse, Saskatchatchewan which is a Métis settlement.

Growing up with no access to Indigenous culture has left me unaware and unfamiliar with the benefits of an Indigenous identity.

This work is so important for Indigenous Peoples because community helps a person feel welcome.
