It is vitally important for our youth to reclaim their cultural identity and rediscover who they are as Indigenous people. They need spaces to explore and embrace who they are.

Kayâs-isîhcikêwin is an initiative founded by me based on the desire to see Indigenous children, youth and adults learn to not only like themselves but ultimately love who Creator has created them to be. It’s about reclaiming our Indigenous identity. Learning and unlearning about who we are as Indigenous people through truth-telling, restoration, and relationship building.

You can be part of this sacred restoration by making a gift to support the work we are doing. When we share our generosity, it inspires others.

Traditionally our teachings and knowledge would have been shared and passed down within the family, community and nations. However, due to colonization, the Residential School system and the Sixties Scoop, this way of learning has been broken and for some, has been severed.
