Hello, all my relations. My name is Where the Land and Water Meet Woman. I don't know my clan. I am from Yellow Quill First Nation. I currently live in Where the Bones are Piled - currently known as Regina.

I have been honoured to be the mother to my beautiful daughter, Kenadee, who will graduating grade 12 this school year.
I am a registered Social Worker in the Province of Saskatchewan and have been in the social work field for over 20yrs.
I am a Sixties Scoop Survivor and an intergenerational Residential School Survivor and have been on a journey of reclaiming, revitalizing, and restoring Indigenous traditions and ceremonies.
I am the founder of Kayâs-isîhcikêwin: Reclaiming Indigenous Culture Inc. (formerly known as Moccasin Lodge).
Kayâs-isîhcikêwin is Cree for the old ways of doing things. It is a passion of mine for Indigenous youth and their families to not only re-embrace their Indigenous identities, but to look in the mirror and not only like themselves but ultimately love themselves as Creator intended them to be.
I have a written published article: From Soul Wounds to Soul Healing: Decolonizing Trauma Healing Practices in 2022.
I am a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal (Saskatchewan) in 2024.
I am also the Director of White Raven Healing Centre with the File Hills Qu’Appelle Tribal Council.

Indigenous People are reclaiming their heritage, healing from intergenerational traumas, and strengthening their connection to their communities and all of Creation.
