Michelle Nieviadomy is a member of Kawacatoose First Nation. While her roots are in Saskatchewan, Edmonton has been home for over 24 years.

She has been promoting wellness Indigenously for at least 15 years with fitness classes (yoga, bootcamp, Iskwew strong, Zumba, Pound Unplugged) and workshops (The Medicine You Are, stress management, cultural diversity, self care) with her business Iskwew Health. 

She is an entrepreneur, innovator, community builder and visionary. She co-founded Healing Her Homefire, a grassroots initiative providing community care and advocacy for the vulnerable  community experiencing homelessness. 

She has written a published article: The Matriarch in the City, highlighting her creative energy and work!

She is on her way to become a psychotherapist as she is on the final lag of a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
